Directions to Everton Park Sports Centre:

 

By Road: Everton Park Sports Centre is approximately two miles north of the City centre.

 

From the M62 Motorway:

 

·      At the end of the M62 Motorway you come to the “The Rocket” Flyover Traffic Lights. The Rocket Pub is situated on the left hand side of the road as you leave the motorway.

 

·      Continue straight ahead into Edge Lane Drive, through the pedestrian lights to the next set of traffic lights. Ian Skelly Car showroom is on the left hand side of the road.

 

·      Go straight ahead at the Traffic lights to the next set of traffic lights - only about 200 yards down the road. Once again go straight ahead - you are now in Edge Lane.

 

·      Continue straight ahead - several sets of pedestrian lights and traffic lights - but continue for about 2 to 3 miles until arriving at another set of traffic lights with a stone church on the left corner of the junction.

 

·      Continue straight ahead - Pass Davy Jones Boat Chandlers on your right, to the next set of lights.

Go straight ahead at the lights to the next set. The road turns either right or left at this junction,

straight ahead. Take the offside lane on your approach to the lights and turn right.

 

·      Continue to the next set of traffic lights and go straight ahead. After approximately 150 yards, the road bears sharply to the left, with traffic merging from the right. Go down the hill to the first set of traffic lights. You need to be in the third lane.

 

·      At the traffic lights, stay in the third lane - not the fourth right turn lane - Office World Shop is on the right corner of this junction.

 

·      Continue straight ahead - still in the third lane, which is now the offside lane. Continue through pedestrian lights to next set of traffic lights.

 

·      Turn right at these lights, to the next set of lights, only about 40 yards away. Go straight ahead.

 

·      You are now travelling along St.Annes Street. First multi-storey building on your left is Merseyside Police “A” Divisional Headquarters. Keep going straight ahead. St. Anne's Street eventually becomes Great Homer Street.

 

·      There is a small shopping precinct on your right. The next building is Everton Park Sports Centre. Turn right into the Car Park.  

 

From the Tunnels: Head North about one and a half miles along Scotland Road, take the right hand lane. Turn right at Great Homer Street by the large green shipping buoy.

 

By Rail: Two miles from Lime Street Station - Inter City Connections.
